Jennifer was Kelsey's middle-aged friend in Wushu classes when she was in college. She is very girly and loves soap operas.

Tiger's Quest[]
Jennifer was a friend to Kelsey. They met on the first day Kelsey went to wushu and instantly became friends. She told Kelsey that Li liked her, but didn't think he would do anything about it.
On Thanksgiving, Kelsey was invited to dinner at her house. While washing the dishes, Jennifer brought up the subject of Ren. Kelsey told her what she wanted to know, but Li heard them talking. Jennifer suggested that Kelsey talk to Li before the situation gets worse.
They were still friends during the time period that both Li and Ren were dating Kelsey. She stayed by her side and was always supporting her. They had a talk on the phone when they had to leave straight away to India she thought that Kelsey was eloping with Ren.
