Yesubai was a princess of a neighboring kingdom of Ren's and Kishan's over 300 years ago. She was engaged to Ren but fell in love with Kishan and wished to be marry him instead. She was killed by her father, who broke her neck by knocking her down.
History[]
Tiger's Promise[]
Yesubai grew up under the control of her abusive father Lokesh. Whenever he became angry he would go directly to her. Using his magic and his fists, her father destroys her belongings and mares her face and body. Despite the efforts of her caretaker Isha, no one can protect her form Lokesh's tirades. It is revealed early on that Yesubai possesses the supernatural abilities of her father. Where Lokesh is cruel and destructive with his powers, Yesubai's magic is gentle and healing.
Tiger's Curse[]
Yesubai was seen in the prologue of Tiger's Curse. Yesubai, Kishan, and Ren sat together as Lokesh observed them. Yesubai blushes deeply when her father says that she would like to marry Kishan instead, and bows down to her father. After Kishan and Ren decide to attack Lokesh, Yesubai lunges at her father as well, but is thrown down and has her neck broken. Kishan grieves for her and holds her in his arms as she dies.
Appearance[]
Yesubai was beautiful, with long, silky, raven-black hair that fell to the back of her knees and vivid violet eyes. She had a lovely, oval-shaped face, full pink lips, and dark lashes and eyebrows. Yesubai was petite, only coming up to Kishan's shoulder.

Yesubai was a sweet, shy, and kind girl, very cowardly. She obeyed her father's every command, despite wanting to get away from him. She genuinely liked Kishan, but did not love him the way he did. She was quiet and was encouraged to seek out Kishan.
