Colleen Houck's four novels are New York Times and USA Today bestsellers. The story began with Tiger's Curse, followed by Tiger's Quest, Tiger's Voyage, Tiger's Destiny. Houck later released a short novella prequel to her series titled Tiger's Promise. She is currently working on an Egyptian themed Reawakened series. The first book, Reawakened, was published in 2015. Houck is a lifelong reader whose literary interests include action, adventure, science fiction, and romance. Formerly a student at the University of Arizona, she has worked as a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter for seventeen years. Colleen lives in Salem, Oregon, with her husband and a huge assortment of plush tigers.

Golden-Globe winner Shekhar Kapur has been selected to direct the Tiger's Curse film. In addition, Shakhar Kapur will also be producing the movie alongside Raphael Kryszek and Jesse Israel. Lotus Entertainment’s Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, D.J. Gugenheim, and Ara Keshishian will be executive producing the film.
Colleen Houck is currently writing Tiger's Destiny. She commented on how she needed to reread her books in order to write the sixth novel. On twitter, when asked when Tiger's Destiny would be released, Houck estimated the book would be published in spring of 2018.
